Mental Wellbeing
Helping our clients cope with the stresses of moving and life
In the mortgage industry, millions if not billions of pounds go into improving the process to make it smoother and less painful. No one as far as we can tell is helping people handle stress.
Over 50% of people we surveyed state moving home as the most stressful life event, above divorce and redundancy, and whilst we too are trying to help make the process as straightforward as possible by putting you in touch with an expert advisor, we want to do more than that.
The wellbeing section of our site is for anyone interested in improving how they manage and understand their thinking. We do not recommend this material as a substitute for proper medical advice – go see your GP!

Read our post about what the hell we’re up to, and why! Our survey knocked us back as we uncovered just how people are feeling when moving home. See the results here.

Wellbeing FAQs
First and foremost, if you are struggling with stress, anxiety, or any mental health issue, we recommend seeing your GP. The material we have collated is for self-help, and for learning about the principles of mind and thought. You can use the NHS 111 service online to help and advice with triage. Depending on the situation they will offer a range of outcomes, from calling emergency services to arranging a 111 call with a nurse. Outside the NHS you may wish to consult a doctor or specialist privately. If you prefer to read / study / investigate things on your own, there are various places to look that you might find useful, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Clarity, and The Little Book of Clarity, Sydney Banks & the 3 principles (3Ps), Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and many others!
Hey, if something here resonated with you, or didn’t – let us know! We’re always looking for improvement and helpful things to share with our teams and other customers. If you’d like to discuss more about Clarity and the three principles, you can make an enquiry here and we’ll have one of their team get in touch!
We want to do more

In the mortgage industry, we have millions if not billions of pounds going into improving the process to make it smoother and less painful. No one as far as we can tell is helping people handle the stress. It’s often one of the top 3 stressful life events people talk about, and whilst we too are trying to help make the process as straightforward as possible by putting you in touch with an expert advisor, we want to do more than that.
